Hayley Orantia is American actor, musician and acrobat. Most people recognise the character as Erica Goldberg in the comedy television show 'The Goldbergs'. The main focus of her is an actor. According to her, music is her first passion. It's something she is experimenting in since the age of nine years old. At the age 12 she was taking music seriously enough to begin studying professionally. She ventured into songwriting at 13 and was only 14 when she released her debut album of covers songs. Since then, she has not stopped ever since. Orrantia is of Hispanic heritage, yet was born in USA. Despite the fact that she only spoke English as a child and never visited Mexico Orrantia is proud of her Hispanic background. In order to preserve her heritage, she is learning Spanish. Also, she writes songs using the Spanish language. One such song is 'Hasta Verte,' which she recorded in Spanish. Orrantia was selected to audition for the first season in the summer of the year 2011. Orrantia, who was initially selected by a panel of YouTube videos and got four "yeses," from judges who were in Seattle during live audition phase. The first time she was auditioning for soloist, she and three female singers were grouped together for the remaining auditions in "Hollywood Week". They were eventually eliminated at the final show.
