Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise has been a writer, singer, and actress in America for more than forty years. She is most famous for her role as Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV show Gilligan's Island). The actress began her career as a stage artist during the 1950s beginning with Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. She continued to perform in various Broadway productions until she made it big on the national theatre area with Li'l abner's in the year 1957. She also released her first album of music, It's Time For Tina during the same year. Louise began the first phase of her Hollywood career in the year 1958 as she played Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre, a drama film. It was a huge success and Louise received an award called the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. In the course of this film, she was enrolled into Actors Studio in New York and developed her association to Lee Strasberg as his student. Her next memorable role came from 1964, when she enrolled with CBS for the role of Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise maintained a successful career, balancing Broadway TV with Hollywood and portraying an empathetic in contrast to her glamour-doll image received. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. As SG-1, and in the role of Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although over the past few years, she has also made an impact as a director who has been successful in numerous well-known TV shows including Supernatural or The 100. Born on 28 August 1965, in Essex. At the age of 3years old, her family moved her to Toronto in Canada where she spent her childhood. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 for the part and she has settled down there ever since.
