Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been a model, actor and advocate for animal rights in the United States. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway 1972 are among her most acclaimed films. She was drawn to becoming an artist was influenced by her upbringing as a member of the New York family of artists. She began as a photo assistant and then moved on to acting and modeling. Her name was highlighted in two of her films and received Golden Globe Award for Most Promising newcomer. MacGraw's 1970 feature film Love Story was an international hit, earning her the Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. Within three years MacGraw was ranked as the top female box office starter in the world. In 1972 her hand-footprints and autograph were engraved at the Grauman's Chinese Theater. The other films she has appeared on are The Getaway Convoy Players, television miniseries The Winds of War and other. The autobiography of MacGraw Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw was married three times.
